About Little Wellies Nursery

Little Wellies Nursery is proudly family-owned and run by Chris, Linsi, Jason, and Jennie. Since establishing their first set in Wrose in 2014, they maintain their day-to-day commitment to hands-on involvement, with the simple aim of providing the highest standards of childcare and education for children aged three months to 4 years. Their fabulous practitioners are creative and child-led and engage children through fun, messy and meaningful play, both inside and out. They teach children to be self-confident, independent, and self-assured. They offer half and full-day childcare both year-round and term time. Little Wellies Nursery provides a holiday club for children aged up to 11 years old. Little Wellies go above and beyond in their training of the staff team. All are paediatric first aid trained and qualified to the highest standards. Tasty, fresh, home cooked meals are prepared daily by the inhouse Cook, often using vegetables grown in the garden by the children themselves. They have regular visits from a hairdresser, football coach and yoga instructor, helping the children find a love of exercise. Little Wellies also has a dedicated Outdoor Learning Lead, who takes the children on expeditions to explore the local areas, often with their magnifying glasses and binoculars in hand.
