About Raising Explorers
Raising Explorers is a Multi Award Winning Unique Out Of School Learning Club and Ofsted Registered Childcare Centre based in the famous Carlisle Business Centre in Manningham, Bradford. Established since 2012, with the key aim to revolutionise the services available to young children aged between 5-15, parents and the community.
Working closely with schools and educational institutions, we continue to add a new dimension to Out Of School Services, Out Of School Learning and Out Of School Education in Bradford. By merging both extra-curricular and religious education in a unique but highly effective way. We have handpicked a team of the most experienced and passionate tutors to develop an Educational Curriculum that will truly ensure your child reaches their true potential. Our warm, welcoming and nurturing team consists of dedicated and qualified teachers, childcare staff and support staff with many years of combined experience in caring for children as well as educating them to a very high standard.

I worked in the NHS as a midwife in Birmingham and have moved back home to Bradford last year and started to work at BRI. As a single parent, I needed a childcare facility that was flexible and provided pick up and drop off service for my children. I wanted a place where my children would not sit idle or spend all their time playing games. I wanted it to be a place where they get support with their education as my son is particularly weak in maths. I always felt guilty that I am having to work long hours and struggle to balance time with my children and work. Juggling everything has been particularly hard after I moved back to Bradford as a single mother. Raising Explorers has been a dream come true. My children absolutely adore this place. The afterschool care, hot halal meals, combined with support with their madrassah and academic studies has just redefined what an afterschool club should be! I have never come across anything like this when i was living in Birmingham. The staff here really care, and they truly want to help you. The facilities are unbelievable, the place is deceptively huge. Unique facility offering huge value to the children of our community.

Brilliant childcare center, I tell ya! What sets 'em apart is they serve up top-notch halal food, Masha Allah! Kids enjoy their meals, and as a parent, Alhamdulillah, I feel reassured knowin' they cater to our dietary needs. Highly recommend this place for excellent childcare and halal meals!

Happy to say the pickup service has been a lifesaver to me. My children go to Sandylane Primary and they get picked up and taken to Raising Explorers and I pick them up after work. My kids have been taken care of well. They charge a very expensive rate which I wouldn't be able to afford if I didn't get government help, but I think it is well worth it as my children also get help with their school work and most importantly picked up from school and therefore the value for money is well worth it. I would recommend to anybody else who can afford it for their children to send to this after school club.
