About Raising Explorers – Thornbury

Raising Explorers is a multi award-winning, unique out-of-school learning club and Ofsted-registered childcare centre, now proudly located at Raising Explorers, Carter Gate Works, Thornbury Road, Bradford, BD3 8HE. Since its establishment in 2012, our mission has been to transform the services available to children aged 5–15, while supporting parents and the wider community.

In partnership with schools and educational institutions, we continue to bring an innovative approach to out-of-school services, learning, and education in Bradford. By blending extra-curricular activities with religious education in a distinctive and highly effective way, we offer a well-rounded and engaging experience for every child.

Our team of carefully selected, experienced, and passionate tutors delivers a thoughtfully designed educational curriculum that helps each child reach their full potential. At our Thornbury Road centre, we provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment, supported by dedicated and qualified teachers, childcare staff, and support personnel with many years of combined experience in both education and childcare, ensuring the highest standards at all times.
